The house in the countryside where my father grew up and my grandparents passed away.
Its deserted garden, which used to be so well tended but is about to start decaying.
Red, artificial tulips.
Changing scenery and flowers that do not fade.
They go on blooming beyond the spring, forgetful of the seasons,
Lashed by rain and covered with snow, they will still look the same again next spring.
unable to change, and so they don't.
But it would be better I think if they could assimilate into nature with the rest.

Ein Haus auf dem Lande,
wo Vater aufwuchs und wo jetzt selbst Großvater und Großmutter nicht mehr sind.
Der Garten, einst sorgsam gepflegt, nun verfallen und leer,
und künstliche rote Tulpen.
Die Umgebung verändert sich, die Blumen aber verwelken nicht.
Längst ist der Frühling vorbei, doch Sie blühen weiter, unberührt von den Jahreszeiten,
vom Regen gewaschen, mit Schnee bedeckt,
auch im nächsten Frühling wieder im selben Kleid,
ändert sich alles, nur sie nicht.
Unmöglich sich zu ändern, stets dieselbe.
Wie schön wäre es, könnte sich alles aneinander anpassen.

Veränderte Landschaft mit nie verwelkenden Blumen.
